Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Even if you don't have a significant other make sure that you let the people that you do love know that you love them - and make sure you love yourself today. Take a bath, go shopping, treat yourself!

Today I went all out on the Valentine's attire. It is so gorgeous out today that I could actually take my photos outside. It's a whole 38 degrees here!! It's usually in the lower teens so everyone is very happy today. Isn't it crazy that we get excited for weather above freezing?

The dress I'm wearing is from Forever 21, as well as the necklace and scarf (both gifts from my boyfriend). The red sweater and red coat are from Old Navy and I stole the socks from my boyfriend (they were actually his soccer socks in high school). The earrings are from Hot Topic and the bracelets were all gifts.

Have a great day and remember there are many forms of love to celebrate today - not just romantic ones.

Funeral Attire

Unfortunately, I had to attend my boyfriend's Uncle's funeral today and I only packed this dress to wear today, so I'm wearing it all day today - which isn't a bad thing because it's a pretty little black dress. I actually got this dress for free. Last year at college I was a resident advisor and I was inspecting someone's room and this dress was hanging in this girl's room. I told her that it was really pretty and she told me I could have it because it didn't fit her anymore. What a sweet deal! I just got the necklace at Goodwill on Thursday and the tights are from Target.

I seem to really like roses?

I didn't even realize, but today I'm wearing another rose outfit - huh! Anyway, I'm casual today because I came home from college today for the weekend and I wanted to be comfortable during the car ride. The jeans and shirt are both from Pac Sun, and the black rose earrings were a present for Christmas.

Polka Dot Love

I felt like being a little more dressy today while going to class and work. I'm wearing a black and white polka dotted skirt that was a gift from my boyfriend's parents for Christmas, a basic black long sleeve tee from Target, and black tights and black knee high socks. I adore the heart shaped necklace my boyfriend got me from Forever 21. I'm so blessed with the gifts I receive from wonderful people.

Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday, right?

Purple People Eater

I'm very purple today! I just got these purple tights on sale at Target so my whole outfit today was inspired by the tights. I'm wearing a purple plaid skirt from Forever 21 (gift from Ryne for Christmas), purple v-neck tee from Delias, a gray sweater from Deb Shops and a brown belt from Goodwill. If you notice, I'm wearing the owl locket that is in the banner for the page. It was a gift from my mom for Christmas. It's such a neat necklace - when you open the wings there's a clock! I like it so much I named my blog after it, hah.

Feeling Rosy

Last night we got around 5 more inches of snow, but I decided to wear a rose print, light weight dress from Forever 21 anyway because I'm sick of winter. Paired with black tights and black boots.

Also, I just purchased a new camera - the Nikon Coolpix L100! Super excited!

Flowers in the Dead of Winter

Starting out this week in a floral print dress from Goodwill because I'm sick of winter. Paired with a brown belt, white tights, a gray sweater, and gray socks. The gold heart necklace is from Goodwill, as well ($1.29)!
